Janet Coonce

Memorial service for Janet Coonce will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Antioch Baptist Church (12150 Road 298, Union MS 39365), at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to Antioch Baptist Church in her honor. The service will be officiated by Rev Joel Embrey and Rev JR Eaton. Janet Elizabeth Coonce, 64, of House MS, died July 13, 2024. Janet Coonce, daughter of Jeanetta Rigdon and the late Jimmie Earl Rigdon, passed away on July 13, 2024 at Merit Health River Oaks hospital. She is survived by daughters, Robbi Wilson (Blanda), Ashley Page; partner, Carl Keenan (Chance, Chase); mother, Jeanetta Rigdon; brother, Jimmy Rigdon (Katherine); grandchildren, Nichole Wilson, Katelyn Wilson and Ethan Montgomery; nieces, Jessie McGuire (Avery, Brody), Sydney Joyner and Miranda Rigdon; and nephew, Isaac Rigdon. She was proceeded in death by her father, Jimmie Earl Rigdon and sister, Cynthia Cheryl Rigdon. Janet Coonce retired from United Auto Workers (UAW-GM) after 30 years of employment. She enjoyed spending her free time cutting her grass and with neighbors and planting flowers. She adored her baby Leo, the cat. She loved her family and friends deeply and passionately.
