James Rushing

A graveside service for James Rushing will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from Sand Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Conn officiating. Visitation will be held at McClain-Hays Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until departure time. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Rushing, 61, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, January 16, 2022, at his home. He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. He was a heavy equipment mechanic by trade. He enjoyed camping and traveling. Survivors include three daughters, Misty Rushing, Lyndsey (Bobby Lee) Hardy, Hailey (Dillon) Cumberland, all of Philadelphia; grandchildren, James Hardy, Hailyn Hardy, Kelton Hardy, Delilah Cumberland; sister, Brenda (Chuck) Coleman of Philadelphia; one niece and several nephews. Preceding Mr. Rushing in death were parents, A. V. and Mary Rushing; two brothers, Dwayne and Mitchell Rushing. Pallbearers are Chris Bounds, Bobby Lee Hardy, Jimmy Rushing, Walynn Pettis, James Hardy, and Exo Moore IV. Honorary pallbearers are Guy Morris, Greg Peebles, and Scotty Vowell.
