James Roy Robinson

Graveside service will be Monday, October 14, 2024 at 10:00 am from Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County. Rev. Russell Lee will officiate. Mr. Robinson, 91, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia. He was a native of Kemper County, MS and a graduate of Lynville High School. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He moved to Ohio after leaving the Army and started work for Teledyne Monarch Rubber Company where he worked in maintenance until he retired and moved back home to Mississippi in 1992. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Kemper County. Survivors include two sons, Randy Robinson and Dale (Janet) Robinson both of DeKalb, MS; grandson, Brandon (Evangeline) Robinson of Orange County, California; two great grandchildren, Lilly and Keegan Robinson. sisters, Hazel Burch of DeKalb, Roma Andreacchio of Lauderdale, Peble Clark of Melbourne FL, Charlotte McLaurin of Lauderdale. Preceded in death by his first wife, Elena Robinson, second wife, Sandra Robinson; parents, H. A. and Thelma Robinson; sisters, Christine Vandevender, Glenda Mercurio, Grace Chandler, Opal Dunn, Diane Robinson, Dorothy Ball, Loraine Willoughby.
