James M. "Jim" Hardy

Services for Mr. James M. "Jim" Hardy will be held on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. from Linwood Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Robinson officiating.  Visitation will be held at McClain-Hays Funeral Service on Wednesday January 30, 2019 from 10:00 A.M until 12:00 Noon and then again at Linwood Baptist Church on Wednesday January 30, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. until time of service. Interment will be in Linwood Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of Jackson, Ms. He was retired from Vickers Aerospace as a machinist. He served in The United States Army in Korea and Japan. He enjoyed farming with his brother Clayton, especially after retirement.  Mr. Hardy was Baptist by faith.  Survivors include his daughter, Mignon Golson of Foley, Al; granddaughter, Grayson Golson of Foley Al; brother, Clayton (Margaret) Hardy of Philadelphia; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Lessie Hardy; brothers, Tom, Paul, Billy, and Benny Hardy; sisters, Nadine Thornton, Earline Hardy, and Shirley Guthrie.
