James Keith Massey

A graveside service for Keith Massey will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Eastlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia with Rev. Wes Schrickel and Rev. Kristen Schrickel officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Massey, 60, of DeKalb, died Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at Rush Hospital in Meridian. A native of Neshoba County, he was a resident of Kemper County for the past 23 years. He was a graduate from Neshoba Central High School in 1978. He worked as an aircraft mechanic at NAS Meridian for 35 years. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Lisa Massey of DeKalb; daughter, Jamie Massey Chipley (Thomas) of Carthage; sons, Justin Eric Massey of Philadelphia and Richard Kyle Massey (Meagan) of Columbus; four grandchildren, Camren Massey, Emma Hazelwood, Bristol Massey and Blake Chipley; father and stepmother, Kenneth and Polly Massey of Philadelphia; brothers, Donny Massey (Norma) of Philadelphia and Ricky McKay (Kathy) of Collinsville; family member by heart, Chezzie Massey of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Massey was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Wayne Nance. Pallbearers are Danny Irons, Jimmy McCoy, Leonard Ingram, David Chisolm, Doug Chisolm, Mike Nance, Gary Nance and Mark Nance.
