James Henry "Cowboy" Ingram, Sr.

Funeral services for James Henry “Cowboy” Ingram, Sr. will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Greg Fortenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 11 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mr. Ingram, 85, of Philadelphia, died December 30, 2022 at his home on Marty Stuart Drive. Henry was born and raised in Philadelphia, MS. He was a disabled veteran and in the Army from 1969-1978 and in the National Guard for four years. Henry enjoyed western movies and western attire and going to the local casino. Survivors include his children, John Ingram of Memphis TN, Scott Ingram (Jessica) of Greer, SC, Mary Lou Bozeman (Kevin) of Philadelphia, Vicky Ingram of Thousand Oaks, CL and Melissa Granado; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Ike Ingram (Jean) of Venice FL and Nell Davis (Bruce) of Gulf Shores, AL; longtime girlfriend, Donna Bramlett; ex-wife and mother of his children, Linda Ingram of Memphis TN; daughter-in-law, Lori Ingram of Memphis, TN. Mr. Ingram is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Osbon Ingram; son,” James” Henry Ingram, Jr.
