Funeral services for James H. "Harold" Kilpatrick will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 12 Noon from McClain-Hays Chapel with interment to follow in the Herbert Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays. James was born in Union, MS to John and Sally Kilpatrick. James was a graduate of Neshoba Central High School. He joined the US Army soon after high school and retired after 20 years of service, where he was a medic and also a member of the Army Corp of Engineers. After retiring from the Army, he worked with the USPS for 17 years. He loved to fish, earning himself the nickname “Catfish”, he also loved to travel. James was very proud of his grandchildren. He was Baptist by faith. Survivors include daughter, Jaime Lee (Casey) of Buda, TX; son, Justin Kilpatrick (Annalisa) of Pittsburg, PA; granddaughter, Violet Tulullah Kilpatrick; grandson, Carter Moon Lee. Sisters: Peggy Willis (Warren) of Newton, MS; Patsy Trussell (Ken) of Pocahontas, MS; Johnnie Smith (Royce); Nancy Cumberland, both of Philadelphia, MS. Several Nieces, Nephews, and their families. Mr. Kilpatrick was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sally Kilpatrick; a sister, Mary Kellebrew; brothers, Jack Kilpatrick and Thomas Kilpatrick. Pallbearers are Steve Cumberland, Wayne Rodgers, Casey Lee, Cody Rodgers, Justin Kilpatrick, and Mel Savell.
