James "Rick" Fryery

Graveside services for James “Rick” Fryery will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. from Cedarlawn Cemetery with Bro. Eddie Pilgrim officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Fryery, 65, of Philadelphia died Friday, April 2, 2021 at his home. He was born in California and raised in a military family, after his dad retired from the Air Force (Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska) in 1974 they moved back to MS. In 1976 he enlisted in the Air Force himself and was stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base in AR for most of his time. He retired in 1994 and he moved to Beebe, AR until 2018 then moved to Philadelphia. He enjoyed fishing and playing darts and his three dogs and seven cats. Survivors include his wife of 36 ½ years, Debbie Fryery of Philadelphia; brother, Robert Fryery (Reba) of Philadelphia; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Harvey, Jr. and Ima Jean Fryery.
