Infant Riffton Dru Burkhalter

Graveside service for Riffton Dru Burkhalter will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11 a.m. from Fellowship Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Duvall officiating. Riffton Dru Burkhalter our forever sunshine and infant son of Cameron and Cassidy Burkhalter was born into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 9:03 a.m. at Oschner-Rush Hospital. Survivors include his paternal grandparents, Robby and Sharron Stevens of Clinton, MS; great-grandparents, Cheryl Odom of Richland, MS; Catherine Burkhalter of Port Charlotte, FL and Diana Mitchell of Collinsville, MS; maternal grandparents, Brian and Jodie (Neese) Cottles of Philadelphia, Shannon and Denise Skinner of Union; great-grandparents, Buddy Adkins of Union, Billy Joe and Shirley Skinner of Union; aunts, Kristin and Austin Jordan of Gluckstadt, MS, Kaitlan and Bryce Baker of Clinton, MS, Chrissy and James Baysinger of Union, Corie and Phillip Williamson of Philadelphia, Corey Stevens, Casey and Chesney Stevens and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much. Riffton was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wes Burkhalter; great-grandfathers, Ed Burkhalter, John Mitchell and Shelton Neese; great- grandmother, Drusillar Sims Neese; great-great-grandparents, Marvin and Etoile Goss, Helen Anderson and Mavis Harris and Mike Mitchell and Deweyrea Hutson. Pallbearers are Cameron Burkhalter and Shannon Skinner.
