In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Angel It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious baby, Lawson Emitte Long, on February 28, 2024. He was born on November 21, 2023, bringing immense joy and love into the lives of many, but especially his loving parents, Matthew and Krissy Long, and his excited big brother, Beau. Though Lawson's time with us was far too brief, he touched the hearts of all who knew him. His bright blue eyes, beautiful smile, and gentle, loving spirit brought warmth and happiness to all who knew him. He adored his big brother Beau, who loved to entertain him by making silly faces and giving warm hugs. Together they formed a bond that transcends words, filled with nothing but pure innocence and unconditional love. His favorite activities were snuggling close with his mom during the wee hours of the morning, giving her smiles as he worked on his neck strength, and smiling at dad as they played games of peekaboo and tickle-monster. In his brief time with us, Lawson taught us the true meaning of love, resilience, and strength. Though he may no longer be physically present, Lawson's memory will forever remain etched in our hearts, and we find solace knowing his entire life was spent experiencing the joy of unconditional love. As we mourn the loss of our beloved Lawson, let us also celebrate the profound impact he had on our lives. In his memory, may we find comfort in the cherished, serene moments we shared and honor his legacy by embracing the love and joy he brought to our lives. Lawson is survived by his parents, Matthew and Krissy Long; brother, Beau Long, maternal grandparents; Richard and Stephany Winstead; paternal grandparents, Joey and Belinda Long; maternal great grandmother, Carolyn Winstead; paternal great grandmother, Virginia Ellingburg; uncle, William Long (Kelsi); and cousin, Kinadee. Lawson will be laid in his final resting place by pallbearers, Slade Anthony, Daniel Cheatham, Justin Clearman, and William Long.
