Hilda Wyvonne Franklin

Services for Hilda Wyvonne Franklin will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 11 a. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Dwight Fleming officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Pearl Valley Cemetery in Neshoba County.  Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Franklin, 82, of Pflugerville, TX, died Sunday, December 8, 2019, at St. David’s Medical Center in Round Rock, TX.  She was born, raised and a longtime resident in Neshoba County, MS, and recently moved to Texas to be with her family.  She loved crocheting and puzzles.  Mrs. Franklin loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids. Survivors include her son, Terry Lane Matula (Stephanie) of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Autumn Rose and Zachary James Matula; sister, Mildred Ilene McCown Spears; brother, Delbert Glynn McCown (Gloria) of Jupiter, FL;  and several nephews and their families.  Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by first husband, James Charles Matula; second husband, Marion Dewitt Franklin; and parents, William Edward McCown and Dessie Steed McCown.
