Hickman Anderson

Services for Hickman Anderson will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Jerry Bishop and Bro. Ed Keen officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.   Mr. Anderson, 95, died Tuesday, October 2, 2019, at the Neshoba County Nursing Home. He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  He was a retired farmer and formerly worked for Weyerhaeuser.  Mr. Anderson was a member of Friendship Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his daughter, Marie Anderson Johnson of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Melissa Goodwin of Lauderdale, Tina Jones of Philadelphia, Denise Refre of Philadelphia, Chris Anderson of Philadelphia, Jason Anderson of Bahrain, Jamie Anderson of Philadelphia, Brandon Hines of Union, and Summer Pruitt of Union; brother, Marvin Anderson of Philadelphia; numerous great and great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and their families. Preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lee Anderson; sons, Edward Anderson and James Anderson; grandchildren,  Janie Belk and Kenneth Thompson; great-grandchildren, Chandler Anderson and MacKenzie Anderson and nine brothers and sisters.
