Henry Ethel Copeland Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from North Bend United Pentecostal Church with Bro. Junior Peden and Bro. Nathan Moore officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 6, 2023 from 12 Noon until service time at the church. Interment will in the North Bend United Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Mr. Copeland was born and raised in Neshoba County, MS. He served in the US Army for 2 years and was a WW2 Veteran. He attended Bond School, loved to hunt and fish and tinker. He retired from Taylor Machine Works after 32 years. Mr. Copeland was married to the love of his life Jacquita for 78 years. He was a member of North Bend United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Jacquita Copeland; daughters, Amelia Jo Thomas (John) of Toomsuba, MS, Kathy Moore (Harold) of Philadelphia, MS; son, Randall Copeland (Kimberly) of Philadelphia, MS; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Copeland is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Gail Butler; grandchild, Marty Jon Butler; sisters, Connie McGahee and Sarah Gray; brothers, Willie, James and Wesley Copeland. Pallbearers are Chad Young, Stevie Barrier, Trent Butler, Kurt Butler, Joe Sanderson and Cole Stewart. Honorary Pallbearer is Freeman Lofton. The family would also like to extend special thanks to Mr. Copeland's caregiver Amy Norton.
