Harold Waddell

A family graveside memorial service for Harold Waddell will be held Sunday, April 26, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from Linwood Cemetery in Neshoba County with Dr. Wayne Hill officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Waddell, 82, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. He retired from Teledyne Exploration where he worked for several years in the oil exploration industry; and also worked at O’Neal’s convenience store after retirement. Mr. Waddell was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Aaron Waddell and Hubert Waddell, both of Union, MS; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Bradley of Philadelphia, MS; brothers, Rayburn Waddell of Dallas, TX, and Johnny Waddell of Philadelphia, MS; numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Mr. Waddell was preceded in death by parents, Rufus and Callie Waddell; sister, Sue Ellen Waddell; brothers, James, Willard, Leonard, Glen, David and Bud Waddell.
