Greta Allene Griffin

A private memorial service will be held for family, close friends, and colleagues during the month of March. Miss Griffin, 61, passed away on Tuesday, February 21st 2023. Greta was born and raised in Winona, MS. She was passionate about horses growing up. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, neighbors, and friends. She loved sharing about her faith in God. Greta worked in multiple fields throughout her life including substitute teacher, painter, and maintenance. Survivors include her sister, Cathy Brett; sister, Cindy Gibson; sister, Gloria Steed; brother, Wade Griffin; many nieces and nephews; daughter, Samantha Blaine; son, Samuel Blaine; grandsons Emmett, Elliott, and Everett Blaine; granddaughter, Elizabeth Blaine. Miss Griffin was preceded in death by her parents, Hamp and Allene Griffin; and her beloved sister, Wadie.
