Funeral services for Grady Lee Ellingburg will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Pastor James Daniels officiating. Interment will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Greenville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2 p.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ellingburg, 93, of Philadelphia, died March 25, 2022. Grady was a native of Neshoba County and a former resident of Greenville and Vicksburg, MS and then he moved back to Philadelphia in 1991. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, member of the VFW, a retired carpenter and welder. Mr. Ellingburg was a member of First Church of God in Philadelphia. Survivors include his daughters, Ann Bennett (Keith) of Bastrop, LA ,Sheila Scrivner (Ned) of Synder, AR and Carol Hanks of Clinton, MS; sons, Grady Michael Ellingburg of Marion, Ms and Kenneth Ellingburg of Greenville, Ms; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Leora Nicholson of Biloxi, MS; special friends, O.B. Ray (Sylvia) of Philadelphia; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Ellingburg was preceded in death by his wives, Martha Ellingburg and Willodine Farmer; sisters, Annie Mae Nicholson and Janelle Atkinson; brothers, Randolph “Buddy” Ellingburg, John D. “Dub” Ellingburg and J.T. Ellingburg.
