Funeral services for Frankie L.” Bud Man” Spears will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Bennie Alford and Rev. Hank Pilgrim officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Life Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Spears, 62, of DeKalb, died Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Lauderdale County and was a longtime resident of Kemper County. He worked in the Forestry Business as a truck driver for several years. He loved watching Nascar Racing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his daughters, Tabitha Warren (Dusty) of Philadelphia; Crystal Stovall (Ben) of Philadelphia; son, Kenneth Spears of Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren, Lori, Erica, Bobby, Tommy and Conner Warren, Raeleigh, Harper, and Hayden Stovall and Annabelle Spears; sisters, Sharon Spears of Collinsville and Alecia Smith of Clarkdale; brother, Johnny “Essy B” Spears of Lauderdale; a host of nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Spears was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Judy Lynn Spears; parents, Robert and Sally Spears. Pallbearers are Johnny "Essy B" Spears, Robert Warren, Chris Stewart, Jackie Farrow, Bobby Warren, Bryan Rigsby, Kadden Goforth, Harlen Jenkins, Joey "Biggn" Moulds and Tommy Warren.
