Funeral services for Emma Marie Sanchez will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Toby Stovall officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 5 until 7 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.

Marie Sanchez, a dedicated member of the Neshoba County community and a native of Winston County, passed away, leaving behind a rich tapestry of love and memorable moments. She devoted many years of her life to the healthcare field as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and care. Marie had a passion for life, finding joy in her favorite TV shows, engaging with her animals, and spending peaceful days fishing. Above all, her heart was full when she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and happiness.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 19 years, Martin Sanchez of Magee; her sons, Jason and Jamie Reed, both of Philadelphia; her adored grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Meagan, Tori, Christopher and Anna; great grandchild, Ja'Zaiyah and Jimmie Leach III; her sisters, Malissa Reyes (David) of Forest and Amy Ogletree of Forest; and a wide circle of nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Hickman and Carrie Massey, and her beloved daughter, Jessica Graham.

Her vibrant spirit and the love she shared will continue to inspire her family and friends. Marie’s presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
