  Services for Elise Anderson will be held Friday, April 26, 2019, at 12 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Jon Allen Stanley and Rev. Jerry Wilkerson officiating.   Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2019,  from 10 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Anderson, 77, of Somerville, Al, died Monday, April 22, 2019. She was a native of Sheffield, Alabama until she met and married her now deceased husband of 62 years, Bobby Anderson.  After her husbands military career ended in 1972, they moved to Neshoba County where they lived and raised their family until 2000 then they moved to Decatur, Alabama where they spent their last years enjoying family, travel, and friends.  Mrs. Anderson was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church in Somerville, Al, and attended Herbert Baptist Church while living in Neshoba County. Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Barrett (Roy) of Somerville, Al; sons, Rick Anderson (Jennifer) of Charleston, S.C., Alan Anderson (Theresa) of Decatur, Al; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bobby Anderson; parents, John and Lois Elam; brother, Johnny Elam. Pallbearers are Ronnie Anderson, Randall Anderson, Danny Wilkerson, Roy Barrett, Jason Barrett, and Ryan Barrett. Honorary Pallbearers are Roger Poole, Louis Goforth, and Chalmus Massey.
