Edward "Ed" Lee Beckham

Graveside memorial service for Edward Lee “Ed” Beckham will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City with military honors. Bro. Dwight Sibley will be officiating Mr. Beckham, 85, of Walnut Grove, MS, died Sunday, October 15, 2023. Ed was a native of Yazoo City and served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked most of his life in the oil fields as a mechanic and retired in 2007. Survivors include sons, Eddie Beckham (Donna) of Walnut Grove and Tony Beckham (Debbie) of Carthage; daughter, Susan Ellington (Billy) of Walnut Grove; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Faye Nichols of Vicksburg, Wandie Edleston of Walnut Grove and Brenda Selman of Vicksburg; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Beckham was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Beckham; parents, George and Mary Beckham.
