Edna Earl Coats Dollar

Services for Mrs. Edna Earl Coats Dollar will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Father Bob Goodyear officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Monday, January 21, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Dollar, 72, of Brandon, died Saturday, January 19, 2019, at her home. A native of Spring Creek Community of Neshoba County, she lived in the Jackson/Brandon area for the past 50 years.  She was a graduate of Neshoba Central High School and graduated from Drone’s Business College in Jackson.  Raising her family and being a homemaker were her main focus.  Mrs. Dollar was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church in Jackson. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Charles N. Dollar of Brandon; sons, Kenneth Noel Dollar (Melanie), Stephen Ray Dollar, Brian Lee Dollar (Wanda), and Jeffrey Andrew Dollar (Jamie), all of Brandon; nine grandchildren, Brady Noel Dollar, Tanner Brooks Dollar, Matthew Stephen Dollar, Mason Ray Dollar, Brianna Shelby Dollar, Abigail Reid Dollar, Andrew Browning Dollar, EmmaGrace McCall Dollar, and Caroline Bentley Dollar; sister, Lola Burnett of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dollar was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Lee and Ola Mae Coats; and seven sisters and brothers. Pallbearers are Brady Noel Dollar, Tanner Brooks Dollar, Matthew Stephen Dollar, Mason Ray Dollar, Andrew Browning Dollar, and Nick Sharp.
