Edith S Green

Services for Edith S. Green will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 3 p.m. from Longino Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Higginbotham and Rev. Matt White officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of service at Longino Baptist Church.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Green, 94, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, December 16, 2018. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Longino Community.  She retired from South Central Bell as a service representative. Mrs. Green was a member of Longino Baptist Church.  She was a member of Communication Workers of America and The Telephone Pioneers.  Survivors include son, Glenn Green (Linda Carol) of Summit; granddaughter, LaTonia Moak of Summit; great-grandchildren, Rainey and Greenlie Moak; several nieces, nephews and their families.   Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Geoffrey Green; sisters, Nell Watkins and Geraldine Thomas.
