Esterlene Sullivan

Funeral services for Esterlene Sullivan will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Coye Assembly of God Church with Bro. Ethan Copeland and Bro. Bob Followell officiating. Burial will follow in Coye Assembly of God Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home and on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Coye Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Sullivan was a native and longtime resident of the Preston Community of Kemper County. She was retired from West Kemper School, formerly employed at Lynville Glove, NECO Blanket Factory in Dekalb, Garan of Philadelphia and as a nurses aide at Kemper County Hospital. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of Coye Assembly of God where she was involved in all church activities. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her husband of 66 years, Royce Sullivan of Preston; daughter, Donna Sue Peebles (Randy) of Collinsville; son, Steve "SS" Sullivan (Pam) of Preston; grandchildren, Kevin Peebles (Candi), Tyler Peebles (Channing), Kayla Jones (Kyle), Kristin Hendrix (Justin); great grandchildren, Macie Peebles, Harrison Peebles, Emmy Rose Peebles, John Mason Peebles, Porter Peebles; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Earlene Goodin Warren; brother, J. C. Warren; sister, Elaine Stokes; and father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Emma Sullivan. Special thanks to all the caregivers for their care and kindness during the past several months. In lieu of flowers family requested memorials be made to Relay for Life or your favorite charity.
