Services for Dorothy Wilkerson will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Jerry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019, from 5 until 9 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wilkerson, 85, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, December 8, 2019, at her home. She was a native and longtime resident of the Bloomfield Community in Neshoba County. She retired from Neshoba Central High School where she worked in the cafeteria. She loved her garden and flowers. Mrs. Wilkerson was a member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Charlene Moulds (Wayne) of Collinsville, Kathaleen Pierce (Grady) of Philadelphia, and Stephanie Buffington (Ken) of Collinsville; sons, Elder Jerry Wilkerson (Cheryl) and Danny Wilkerson, both of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by husband, Charlie Wilkerson; parents, Arvin and Mable Anderson; great-grandson, Christopher Blake Guess; sisters, Beadie Mae Poole, Claudine Mabry; and brothers, Arlie and Sammy Anderson. Pallbearers are James White, Ricky White, Ronnie Anderson, Randal Anderson, Roger Poole, Chris Anderson, Doug Pierce and Zachary Guess. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Moulds, Grady Pierce and Ken Buffington.
