Services for Dorothy Quinn Barrier will be held at McClain-Hays Chapel on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at 1:00 p. m. with Bro. Earl Ferguson and Bro. Tim Vowell officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 11:00 a. m. until time of service. Burial will follow in the North Bend Pentecostal Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barrier, 92, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was born and raised in Neshoba County. She worked at Wells-Lamont Corporation for 40-plus years and was also a CNA for several years. She was a 1946 graduate of Philadelphia High School. Mrs. Barrier was a member of United Pentecostal Church for 50-plus years and held many job titles at the church. She loved to fish, work in the yard, and cooking. Survivors include children, Glenda Ferguson, Granville Quinn (Peggy), and Aletha Quinn Mitchell (Ken); five grandchildren, Richard Ferguson (Alexa), Melissa Sawyer (Sydney), Josh Quinn (Tesa), Lucas Quinn (Gwenette), and Jeremy Ray (Heather); nine-great-grandchildren, Kaylee Ferguson, Kameron Ferguson, Jordan Sawyer, Emilee Sawyer, Miley Ray, Addison Ray, Greyson Quinn, Amzie Quinn, Laura Quinn; one niece, Ellen McDowell; two nephews, Steve Shelton and Carl Jenkins. Mrs. Barrier was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Quinn; second husband, Oma Barrier; parents, Jessie and Mattie Mae Burkes; sisters, Pearl Jenkins and Ramona Shelton; and son-in-law, Howard Ferguson. Pallbearers are Josh Quinn, Lucas Quinn, Jeremy Ray, Richard Ferguson, Sydney Sawyer, Steve Shelton, and Kameron Ferguson. Honorary pallbearer is Carl Jenkins.
