Dorothy "Dot" Smith

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Cedarlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home.   Dorothy Arledge Smith was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of Philadelphia. She operated the Grill Restaurant until opening Dot's Cafe in 1959, which she operated with her husband until 2005.   Mrs. Smith is survived by son, Bobby Tingle (Norma); daughter, Jessica Wayne Smith (Mikie); grandchildren, Tracey Montgomery (Steve) and Cynthia Renee' Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, Michael Lee Montgomery, Kelsie Marie Montgomery and Juan Carlos Gonzalez; and great-great grandchild, Finley Joe Gonzalez.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Doris Wayne Smith; daughter, Linda Lou Jackson; and parents, Frank & Evie Sullivan Arledge.
