Doris Parker Ray

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Parker Ray will be held Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 2 pm from McClain-Hays Chapel. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 1 pm until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Doris Parker Ray was born in Philadelphia, MS, October 3, 1927, and was married for 44 years to the late Wilfred Roscoe (Ray) Ray, Jr. She passed peacefully on October 1, 2020, in Georgetown, TX. She is survived by her children, Karen Ray Crane (Mickey) and Alan Ray (Katy). She was blessed with four grandchildren, Michael Crane (Heather), Chantal Tyler, Jared Ray, and Jordan Ray. Doris also had 6 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at The Delaney of Georgetown Village, Georgetown, TX, for the loving care and compassion they provided to our mother and grandmother. Additionally, we would like to thank the staff at Kindred Hospice for their guidance, direction, and loving care during Doris' final days. Doris will be interred by McClain-Hays next to her husband in Cedarlawn Cemetery, Philadelphia, MS.
