Services for Donald L. Luke will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 1, 2021, from Coye Assembly of God Church in Preston, MS, with the interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at McClain-Hays Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time on Monday at the church. Rev. Lawrence Pool and Rev. Ryan Farmer will officiate. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Luke, 75, Of Preston, died Friday, January 29, 2021, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. A native and lifelong resident of Preston, MS, he was a graduate of Prince Chapel High School in Preston and East Mississippi Community College. He worked in maintenance and was a machine tool service engineer for most of his adult life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors, his gardening and grilling. Mr. Luke was a member of Coye Assembly of God Church. Survivors include wife, Martha Luke of Preston; daughter, Nikki Fulton (Sean) of Preston; sons, Chuck Luke (Linda) of Scooba, Chip Luke (Belynda) of Preston; stepsons, Petey Overstreet (Amber) of Vancleave, Clifton Overstreet (Melissa) of Vancleave; sixteen grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred Luke (Erma) of Preston; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Luke was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruthie Luke; parents, Willis and Ethel Luke; sisters, Bonnie Robertson, Jeanette Edwards, Bobbie Daniels and Diane Hatcher. Pallbearers are Cody Robertson, Blake Robertson, Dilyn Overstreet, Cadyn Chapman, Brad Luke, Jay Kitrell, Tanner Luke, Tatum Luke, Robert Clay and Scott Tidwell.
