Don Elliott

Funeral services for Don Elliott will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. from Enon Baptist Church with Rev. Kelly Tingle officiating. Burial will follow in Golden Grove Cemetery in Union, MS. Visitation will be held from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mr. Elliott, 92, of Lakeland, FL died Monday, January 1, 2024. Mr. Don was a native of Indianapolis, IN and a longtime resident of Florida. He was employed for many years at Woolworth and Wal-Mart and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Mr. Elliott was a member of McGregor Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, FL. Survivors include his daughters, Patricia Ann Clark (Herman) of Ft. Myers, FL, Janice Lee Libardoni (Pete) of Palm City, Fl and Linda Gail Maere (Rick) of Lakeland, FL; son, Don Elliott, III (Shea) of Philadelphia, MS; grandchildren, Graham Clark (Michaela), Hannah Clark, Pete Libardoni (Emily), Alex Libardoni (Kera), Elliott Mitchell (Kathryn), Trace Mitchell, Dagen Tingle (Caleb) Riley Elliott and Ella Jai Elliott; and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Elliott was preceded in death by his wife, , Dephynee Elliott; parents, Don and Elenora Elliott. Pallbearers are, Victor Wedgeworth, Jason Smith, Bob Smith, Justin Smith, Tanner Smith and Tobey Smith.
