Del Mcdonald

Services for Mrs. Del McDonald will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018,at 3 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Dwight Faulkenberry officiating. Burial will be held at Good Hope Cemetery . Visitation will be held Wednesday,September 19, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  Mrs. McDonald, 86, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was a native of Clarke County, Ms and a longtime resident of Goodhope Community.  Mrs. McDonald was a member of Goodhope Baptist Church and was a Sunday school teacher and a longtime church organist.  Her favorite hobbies were fishing and gardening. Survivors are her daughters, Debbie McKinion and Wanda McDonald of Philadelphia; son Ricky McDonald (Dink) of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Michelle Baird (Patrick) of Kingwood, Texas, Butch Coghlan of Philadelphia and Amanda McDonald of Jackson, Ms; two great-grandchildren, Gabby and Evan Baird; brother, Ronnie Dedwylder of Quitman. Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis McDonald. Pallbearers are Marty Sistrunk, Barry Brantley, Steve Beason, Ricky Martin,Dewey Johnson and Larry Adkins. Honorary Pallbearers are  Terry Adkins and Tommy Smith
