Services for Deborah Skinner Hurtt will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Jeff Cannon and Rev. Mike Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at McClain-Hays Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hurtt, 70, of Philadelphia, died Monday, January 25, 2020. A native of Meridian, MS, she graduated from Meridian High School in 1968. She married Billy Skinner in 1970 and moved to Pearl in 1981, where they lived for several years until Mr. Skinner passed away in 1991. She met and married her second husband, Dale, in 1992. They moved from Pearl in 2017 to reside at their current address in Neshoba County. Survivors include her second husband, Dale Hurtt of Philadelphia; daughter, Melissa Robertson (Steven) of Pearl; son, Mike Skinner (Amanda) of Decatur; grandchildren, Joseph Robertson, Megan Robertson, Aubrie Skinner, Anna Claire Skinner, and Emmalyn Skinner; sisters, Donna Waddell (David) of Houston, TX, and Daphne Boswell (Eddie) of Toomsuba, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hurtt was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Skinner; parents, Perk and Bert Cannon. Pallbearers are Matt Boren, Adam Boren, Harbert Johnson, Eddie Boswell, and Jeff Cannon, Jr. and John Taylor. Honorary Pallbearer is Jason Villasana
