Graveside services for Darthy Willingham will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Bloomfield Cemetery with Bro. Buddy Covington and Bro. Jimmy Holder officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Willingham, 73, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, July 11, 2020. Darthy was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and retired from Neshoba General Hospital in Admissions. She was best known for her love of doing for others and enjoyed decorating for weddings, baby and bridal showers; and if someone was sick she was there with enough food to last awhile. She was always first to get there for an event and the last to leave; and whatever anybody wanted she made it happen at her expense. Darthy and her husband, Jesse, were the most giving people I know, and were always doing for others. They loved traveling to many destinations over the years. Mrs. Willingham was a lifelong member of Bloomfield Methodist Church. Survivors include nieces and nephews and their families to cherish this sweet Godly soul. Mrs. Willingham was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Leon Willingham, Sr. (March 14, 2020); son, Jesse Leon Willingham, Jr.; parents, Buster Cumberland and Fannie Bea Anderson Cumberland; sister, Arlie Cumberland Pierce; brothers, Jim, Bobby Joe, Sammy Lee and Grady Cumberland. The family would like to thank Neshoba County Nursing Home station 4 – 2 for their excellent care and love shown to her; and to Quality Hospice for their care, concern and love shown to her, and the care shown to the family. You are all a wonderful group of people. Thank You and God Bless All of You.
