Danny C. Bounds

Services for Danny Bounds will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Pastor Sam Fulton officiating.  Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery in Neshoba County.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a. m. until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Mr. Bounds, 74, of Philadelphia, died Monday, September 30, 2019, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba.  He owned and drove log trucks for many years.  Mr. Bounds was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his son, Chris Bounds of Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Mitchell and Jo-Jo; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Shirley McDaniel (Charles) of Philadelphia and Donna Cumberland of Philadelphia; and several nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Bounds was preceded in death by daughter, Judy Carol Bounds; son, Clay Bounds; and parents, Carlie and Billie Bounds.
