Christopher Hatcher

Funeral services for Christopher Hatcher will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Paul Guy officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mr. Hatcher, 51, of Union, died Sunday, September 10, 2023. Christopher was a native of Neshoba County and a resident of the House Community for 26 years. He was a graduate of MSU and worked for ATT for 25 years as the Central Office Electronic Technician. He was a loving, loyal and dedicated Christian man who gave all to his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and everyone knew that he loved them DAWGS! Survivors include wife of 28 years, Rachel Hatcher of Union; Children, Katlyn (Dylan) Peden of Hattiesburg, Brittany Hatcher, Mason Sansing, Brandon Hatcher, and Madison Hatcher all of Union; grandson, Elliott Hatcher; father and step-mother, Donny (Debbie) Hatcher of Collinsville; brothers, Robbie (Shannon) Hatcher of Union, Richard Townsend of Philadelphia, Jason Hatcher of Collinsville and Matthew (Kimberly) Hatcher of Atlanta, GA; closest cousin and best friend, Timmy Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Hatcher was preceded in death by mother, Patricia Dianne Luke. Pallbearers are, James Guy, Chris Guy, Robbie Hatcher, Matthew Hatcher, Timmy Smith and Richard Townsend.
