Services for Chris Franklin will be held Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 3 p.m. at McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Mike Sullivan officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 1:30 p.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Internment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Franklin, 49, of Philadelphia died Sunday, June 2, 2024. Christopher Glen Franklin was born on September 9, 1974 and was a resident of Neshoba County his entire life and resided in Philadelphia. He was a welder and proudly done it for over 30 years and was a small engine mechanic and he could fix almost anything he put his hands on. Chris loved his family, friends, fishing, hunting, and playing pool. Survivors include his wife Courtney Russell Franklin; children, Conner, Hunter (Joshlynne), Morgan and Grace Franklin all of Philadelphia; granddaughter, Marsali Lewis; brother, Michael Jackson; sisters, Angie Dearing and Brittany Franklin. Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Conner Glen Franklin and Patricia Ann Franklin; grandparents, Rudolph and Ellie Franklin and Bernice Dickey. Pallbearers, Conner Franklin, Hunter Lewis, Damon Witcher, Matthew Sullivan, John Paul McGahey, Dustin Sullivan, Jacob Sullivan and Kyle Grainger.
