Charles Mcdaniel

Services for Charles Wayne McDaniel will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Mike Skinner officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Herbert Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. McDaniel, 74, of Philadelphia, died Monday, April 26, 2021, at his home. He was a native of the Chisholm College Community in Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Center Hill Community. He retired from Wells-Lamont where he worked in maintenance as a mechanic/electrician. He enjoyed equipment auctions, hunting, fishing, activity with his grandkids, and family gatherings at the McDaniel Cookhouse. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Herbert Baptist Church. He was president of Sherwood Hunting Club for several years. Survivors include wife, Shirley McDaniel of Philadelphia; son, Tommy Wayne (Leigh) McDaniel of Philadelphia; daughter, Misti Lynne McDaniel of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Brian, Mason, Paisley, and Hooper; sisters, Mavis Fagan, Nan Cavin, and Kathy Ridout, all of Chisholm College, and Faye Warren of Clinton; brothers, Johnny McDaniel of Meridian and Jimmy McDaniel of Chisholm College; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
