Services for Mr. Charles Everett Estes will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022 at First Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Cedarlawn Cemetery. Dr. Dan Howard and Rev. Evan Humphries will officiate. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church. Mr. Charles Everett Estes, 99, of Philadelphia, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Attwood Personal Care Home. Mr. Estes was a native of Neshoba County. He attended MSU, where he received a degree in Dairy Science. He was a longtime resident of Metairie, LA moving back to Neshoba County in 2000. Mr. Estes was a member of First Baptist Church, a member of the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class and the B.A.L.L. Group. He served in the US Navy in WWII and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and his First Baptist Church family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Estes; sisters, Marie Stribling, Cecil Wyatt and brother, Frank Estes. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wee Care Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Philadelphia or your favorite charity.
