Chance Nance

Services for Chance Nance will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. James Clardy officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held Tuesday at McClain-Hays Funeral Home from noon until time of service. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was a native and lifelong resident of Philadelphia/Neshoba County. Chance graduated from All Saints Christian Academy and East Central Community College. He formerly worked at Wal-Mart in Philadelphia for several years. Mr. Nance was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Mary Nance and son, Rodney Nance, both of Philadelphia; father, Dennis Ferguson of Philadelphia; sister, Angel Edwards of Starkville; brother, Lee Bradshaw of Philadelphia. Mr. Nance was preceded in death by his mother, Vickey Nance; brother, David Ferguson; grandparents, Royce Nance and Nell Nance, and Willis and Marie Ferguson.
