Ceceile Bostick Hailey

Funeral services for Ceceile Bostick Hailey will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Coy Community Church with Rev. Ben Hailey and Bro. Mike Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the Hailey-Richey Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Coy Community Church.

Ceceile Bostick Hailey was joyfully received into the arms of Jesus on November 18, 2024.  She was born on June 17, 1931, and graduated from Prince Chapel High School in 1949 as valedictorian of her class.

She was married to George Hailey, a teacher, basketball coach, and administrator.  They lived in several different towns in North MS making many friends.  Ceceile worked 4 years at First American National Bank of Iuka, MS and 6 years at the Citizens Bank in Philadelphia, MS. She also worked one year at the State Highway Patrol office in Jackson, MS.

She is preceded in her death by her husband George Hailey, sons Mike and Terry, parents Neil and Nell Bostick, brothers Jack, Keith, Neil Jr. and Larry Bostick, and her sister Mary Green Woody.

She is survived by her son Marc Hailey of Louisville, grandson Rev. Ben Hailey (wife Beth), great grandson Nathan and great granddaughter Hannah, all of College Station, TX, and her brother Dwight "Bobo" (wife Faye) Bostick of Preston, MS.

Pallbearers will be Marc Hailey, Ben Hailey, Nathan Hailey, Terry Bostick, Hailey Moody and Ryan Bostick.

Honorary pallbearers are Bobo Bostick, Wade Hailey and Trent Butler.

Family requests in lieu of flowers all memorials be made to Palmer Home for Children.
