Funeral services for Casey Wilkerson will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 at 12 noon from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Jason Price and Bro. Kelly Tingle officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Olive Cemetery in Stephen’s Town. Visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 from 10 a.m. until service time. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wilkerson, 32, of Union died Thursday, January 25, 2024. Casey was born in Killeen, TX and had lived in Mississippi his entire life and was home schooled. He loved his family and his animals, Rusty and Callie. Casey loved to hunt, fish, ride 4 wheelers, watch the Dukes of Hazzard and movies, to crush cans for exercise and country music. Casey didn’t let his disability keep him from enjoying life. He enjoyed helping his mother and papaw. Mr. Wilkerson was a member of High Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Amy Pogue of Sebastopol; father, Thomas Scott Wilkerson (Elsie) of Philadelphia; sister, Jamie Pogue (Gage Fellenstein) of Forest; step-sister, Sara Yates of Forest; grandmother, Lillie Ishee of Sebastopol; grandfather, Henry Wilkerson (Sally) of Philadelphia; aunt, Mary Barnett of Sebastopol; uncle, Bobby Ishee of Sebastopol; special cousin, Michael Barnett; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Wilkerson was preceded in death by grandmother, Mary Sue Wilkerson; great-grandmother, Ruby Walters. Pallbearers, Hank Thrash, Tony Bender, Bobby Ishee, Gage Fellenstein, Larry Killens and Mac McLock. Honorary Pallbearers, Kaleb Bender and Michael Barnett.
