Services for Casey Mars will be held Monday, December 2, 2019, at 2:00 p. m. from First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia with Rev. Ryan McGough officiating.  Burial will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery in Neshoba County.  Visitation will be held Monday from 12 noon until time of service at the church.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Mars, 41, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, November 30, 2019, at her home. She was a native of Madden, MS, and a resident of Philadelphia since 2001.  She was employed by Laird Hospital in Union as a medical technologist.  Mrs. Mars was a member of First United Methodist Church.  She was active in support of all the children’s activities and was a personal fitness enthusiast.  She loved Ole Miss Football and Baseball and tailgating at The Grove.  Survivors include husband, Adam Mars of Philadelphia; children, Mary Montgomery Mars, Maddox Mars, Alex Mars and Jax Mars; mother, Mary Lynn Lewis; brothers, Webb (Tiffany) Lewis and  Jon Lewis, all of Oxford; nieces, Allie Lewis and Jordan Lewis; nephews, Jack Lewis and Jae Lewis; and numerous extended family and friends.  Mrs. Mars was preceded in death by her father, Pete Lewis. Pallbearers are B. J. Morrow, Shan Winstead, William Adkins, Joey Irby, Jacob Phillips and John Wilkerson.  Honorary pallbearers are Maddox’s ball team, Mississippi Phillies.  In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Philadelphia, Pete Lewis Endowment Scholarship Fund at Ole Miss Athletic Dept. P.O. Box 1519 Oxford, Ms. 38655 or charity of choice.
