Callie Marie Myers

Services for Callie Marie Myers will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019, at 3:30 from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Mike Carr officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:30 until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Myers, 87, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, December 12, 2019, at her home. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  She was a devoted employee of The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia for 50 years, during which time she considered her coworkers her extended family.  Mrs. Myers was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Survivors include daughter, Gina Moorehead of Philadelphia; two grandsons, Garrett and Gray Moorehead; and two great-grandsons, William and Weston Moorehead.  Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, Lee “Buddy” Myers; parents, Worth and Lavada Thaggard; brothers, Lindy Thaggard and Bill Thaggard; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Thaggard.  The family would like to express sincerest thanks for the abiding love and excellent care given during the last years by Mrs. Mary Triplett.
