Graveside service for Bulah Brown will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. from Memorial Garden Park Cemetery, 9036 Oktoc Road, Starkville, MS with Rev. Blaine Allen officiating. Visitation will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 1804 S. Montgomery Street, Starkville, MS from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements. Ms Brown, 95, of Starkville, MS, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Ms Bulah was a native of Darling, MS and lived in Starkville, MS. She was a graduate of Darling High School and Mississippi State University. While at MSU she joined the ROTC and was a member of Zeta Sorority, was elected Most Beautiful and was a cheerleader. She worked as a beautician for several years and also worked in retail. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing bridge, crocheting, tending to her flowers, cooking and watching football on tv, but MSU was her favorite. MS Brown was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church and loved her church and church family. She is survived by her daughters, Dale B. Montgomery (Mickey) of Starkville and Mitzi B. Stribling (Kent) of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Ms Brown is preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Brown; brother, Tommy Dale; great-granddaughter, Mary Lawson Stribling; parents, Thomas Henry Dale and Annie McAdams Dale. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children Hospital or your favorite charity.
