Brenda Fletcher

Services for Brenda Carol Fletcher will be held Monday, March 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Tim Robertson and Rev. Burt Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Johnsonville Community. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mrs. Fletcher, 74, died Thursday, March 25, 2021, at her home. Brenda was a native and longtime resident of the Goodhope Community of Neshoba County. She enjoyed baking cakes, sewing, woodworking, flower growing, and family time. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Survivors include children, Jonathan (Tammy) Fletcher, Robert (Shelly) Vowell, Trish (Craig) Dowdy, and Angie (Jack) Conn, all of Philadelphia, MS, John (Patty) Fletcher of Yazoo City, MS, Anna (Bruce) Hill of Bessemer, AL, Monty (Sandy) Fletcher of Madison, MS, Tonya (Don) Culpepper of Philadelphia, MS, and Sheila Fletcher of Madison, MS; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Sherwin Hodges of Philadelphia; brother, Randy Clark of Philadelphia; several nieces, nephews, and their families. Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Fletcher; mother, Odessa “Mutt” Clark and father, Stanley Clark. Pallbearers are grandsons, Kenny Measell, Drew Dowdy, Clay Conn, Josh Fletcher, Jake Fletcher, Ty Culpepper, Matthew Fletcher, and Jason Fletcher. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or your favorite charity.
