MARK CLOYSMrs. Barker, 85, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, November 11, 2017, at her residence. She was a native of Kemper County and a graduate of Damascus High School in Kemper County. She had been a resident of Philadelphia most of her adult life. She served alongside of her late husband, Rev. Leo Barker throughout his ministry. Mrs. Barker was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Jackie (Connie) Barker of Philadelphia and Gary (Lisa) Barker of Ripley; grandchildren, Leslie Barker, Billy Cumberland, Renee (Clay) Willis, Jody (Ashley) Burroughs, Tyler (Stephanie) Cumberland; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Leo Barker; two brothers and one sister. Pallbearers will be Clay Willis, Roger Dale Hagan, Cliff Barker, Ashley Burroughs, Edward Germany and Joe Graves.
