Billie Maureen Ming Jones

Services for Billie Maureen Ming Jones will be held, Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 10 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Adcock officiating.  Burial will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery in  Winston County. Visitation will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jones, 90, of Brandon, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She worked and retired after 30 years of service as a secretary for Mississippi State Hospital. She loved the Dixie National Rodeo, trail riding , Elvis and her dogs.  Mrs. Jones was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Special Thanks to Oak Cottage at Winston County Rehabilitation Home. Survivors include daughters, Kathy Bowman (Bobby) of Louisville, MS, Donna K. Harris (WC) of Pearl, MS and Rhonda F. Ming of Pearl, MS; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her first husband of 49 years, Daniel R. Ming; son, James Richard Ming; sisters, Genelle Edington, Mona Warren, and Janice Wilson; brother, James Williamson.
