Graveside services for Billie Joe Turner will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018, at 3 p.m. from Cedarlawn Cemetery with Rev. Michael Harper officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Billie Joe Townsend Turner, 88, a long time resident of Philadelphia, Ms., died Wednesday, October 24, 2018  at Carthage Health & Rehab , Carthage, Ms.  Her passing was preceded by her husband Walter Turner. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Turner Jenkins (Ronny), of Philadelphia, and Jo Anne Turner Jones (Chip), of Walnut Grove; grandchildren, Shelley (Shay) Darby, Amanda (Paul) Busby, Shannon (Andy) Kirkland, and Ryan (Abby) Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Lakelyn Darby, Koah Darby, Braylan Busby, Raylie Jo Busby, Kamdyn Busby, Darby Grace Busby, Chipley Busby, Cole Kirkland, Sadie Grace Kirkland, Hayden and Henley Jenkins; sister, Dreta Townsend, Forkville,Ms. The family would like to thank her physicians, the management and employees of Atwood Assisted Living  and Quality Hospice of Philadelphia, Ms and Carthage Health & Rehab of Carthage, Ms for their compassionate care since August of 2009.
