Betty Guess

Graveside service for Betty Ann Guess will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at 12 noon from Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Durant with Rev. Daniel Blalock and Rev. Kevin Vaughn officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Guess, 62, died Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was a native of Holmes County and a resident of Neshoba County since the 1990’s. She was a retired childcare worker and former daycare owner. Mrs. Guess was Congregational Methodist by faith. Survivors include husband, Billy Guess of Philadelphia; son, Brian (Mandy) Guess of Philadelphia; daughter, Dana (Alan) Spears of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Zachary, Greta, Jordan, Grace, and Elizabeth Guess; Faith Schillaci, Samantha, Samuel, Jacob Spears, Demond Wellman, and Jianna Stewart; brothers, Mike (Pam) Burson of Radcliff, KY, and Mark Wellman of Philadelphia; numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Mrs. Guess was preceded in death by son, Gregory Guess; grandson, Christopher Guess; parents, George and Martha Jo Burson; brothers, Ronnie Burson, Tommy Burson, Richard Burson, and George Burson; sister, Debbie Burson.
