Betty Cumberland

Graveside services for Betty Cumberland will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Coye Assembly of God Cemetery with Rev. Allen Herrington officiating. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Cumberland, 74, of Preston, died Thursday, August 6, 2020. She was a native and lifelong resident of Kemper County and was a homemaker all her life. She love to garden, cook and being with her family especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Cumberland was a member of Coye Assembly of God Church in Preston. Survived by her sons, Lee Cumberland and Brock (Mary Ann) Cumberland all of Preston; grandchildren, Brooks, Matthew (Erica), Ivy (Chris), Anna, John, Mamie, Ashley (Larry), Billy, Tyler (Stephanie); 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Thomas of Louisville and Charlotte Petty (Edward) of Union; a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cumberland was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Billy Cumberland; son, Johnny Cumberland; parents, James and Correne Warren; brothers, Ricky and Wesley Warren.
