Services for Betty Burnham Adams will be held Monday, May 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Sister Margaret Jones and Brother Keith Guy officiating. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Park in Louisville, MS. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams, 74, of Preston, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at her home. A native of Winston County, she was a resident of Kemper County for the past 33 years. She retired from U. S. Motors. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Adams was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Louisville. Survivors include husband, Jimmy Goodin of Preston, MS; sons, Ricky (DeLesa) Adams and Jason (Freda) Adams of Louisville, MS; and Jr (Pam) Goodin of Preston, MS; daughter, Melissa (Joe) Watrous of Ocean Springs, MS; daughter-in-law, Donna Goodin of Preston, MS; sister, Myrtice Boatner of Schriever, LA; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceding Mrs. Adams in death were her first husband, Billy Wade Adams; parents, Beatrice Cherry Burnham and William Thomas Burnham; son, Scottie Goodin; brothers, Melvin Burnham and Jack Burnham of Louisville, MS, Marvin Burnham of Philadelphia, MS, Gene Burnham of House, MS, Leon Burnham of Schriever, LA, Johnny Burnham of Houma, LA, Charles Burnham of Thibodaux, LA; and sister, Margie Lishman of Thibodaux, LA. Pallbearers are Ricky Adams, Jason Adams, Austin Adams, Jeremy Adams, Buddy Windham, Gavin Windham, Danny Sullivan and Jr Burnham. Honorary pallbearers are Micheal Burnham, Justin Burnham, Joseph Pace, and David Kaszubowski.
